1. Tackle That Garage

   This is something you are probably putting off as long as possible. But now, as Fall is approaching, you need the space in that garage to store all those summer things. Go through it first and get rid of anything broken or unused for the last two years. You can use your driveway as an area to layout all the various things inside your garage so you can get a better idea of what you need or do not. 2. Clean the Backyard

   Remove patio furniture, toys, hoses, games, mowers and anything else that doesn’t belong out in the Winter. Make sure that you’re spotless of all the things that you plan to store away, you will thank yourself come springtime. No need to put the grill away, just toss on a good quality cover and disconnect and store the propane away.

3. Garden

   You won’t be growing anything new now, but it’s a good idea to get your garden into shape before the colder months hit. The goal is to prep the earth to withstand the dropping temps. Do this by reseeding any bare patches in your lawn. Many stores sell Winter fertilizers to help with the cold. Not a bad idea to plant some bulbs for the Spring.
